The Environmental Education Lab (EEL), based at the Department of Educational Studies within the School of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), is a research and academic hub dedicated to advancing knowledge and critical engagement in the field of Environmental and Sustainability Education.

Our work is grounded in interdisciplinary and socially responsive approaches, focusing on the intersections of education, sustainability, citizenship, creativity and socio-environmental justice. We explore both theoretical and applied dimensions of environmental and sustainability learning, drawing from diverse traditions of pedagogy, the social sciences and humanities, and civic practice.
