Dr. Matrona Pappa
Matrona Pappa is a physical educator working in primary education and a member of the pedagogical team at the Environmental Education Center of Chios Island. She holds a Master’s degree in Education. She completed her PhD in 2024 at the Department of Educational Studies, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Her doctoral dissertation is titled:
“The Neomaterialist Thought of Deleuze-Guattari in Environmental Education: A Framework for Viewing and Investigating Children’s Environmental Experience and Learning Through Their Experiential Contact and Relationship with Nature.”

Zacharenia Daskalaki is a primary education teacher and holds a Master’s degree in Education. Her doctoral research examines the pedagogical potential of digital games within the context of Environmental Education for Sustainability.

Anna Trigatzi is a secondary school teacher of Greek language and a member of the Oral History Communities. She holds a Master’s degree in Critical Theory in Education. Her doctoral research explores the pedagogical value of integrating Oral Environmental History into Environmental Education practices in school settings.

Maria Pliota
Maria Pliota is a secondary school teacher of French and serves as a Consultant for French Language Philologists. She holds two Master’s degrees: one in Environmental Education for Sustainability and another in Educational Studies. Her doctoral research focuses on empowering the role of teachersfor the green and digital transition through the design and evaluation of a professional development program targeting green and digital skills.
